Microsoft Excel: Macros

In the gaming industry, Hotkeys are very important to give the players easy access to simpler keys that will be helpful casting spells, using items and other things with ease.

In Microsoft Excel, there is a similar thing called Macros. With these Macros the user will be able to do what he wants with ease in a less period of time. For example, you want to bold, italicize, and underline a text. With Macros, you can do it all at once but first you need to record a Macro.

Here’s how:

     1)    Go to View Tab

     2)    Look for the Macros and click the drop down arrow

     3)    Click Record Macros

Now there is a pop-up menu.

     4)    Put your Macro name (without spaces or symbols)

     5)    Assign a Shortcut Key

     6)    Choose where to save the Macro

     7)    Give a Description (optional)

     8)    Press ok

Now it is time for recording.

     9)    Do what you want your Macro to do

    10) Stop the recording with the Stop Button at the Status Bar

    11) You now have your Macro
